For organizations

When nobody is doing security.

Churches, nonprofits, small business and local government, where the person looking after the computers also runs the office, the sound desk or the payroll. We train your people, and we cover the basics behind them.

If you already have IT, we'd rather back them up than replace them.

Where we fit

If you have an IT provider, we train your people and hand the rest back to them. We take on protection ourselves where nobody is doing it and you're small enough that the basics cover it. If you don't have a provider and you want one, or you've outgrown the basics, we'll introduce you to an IT partner in the area, and we train your people either way.

For the IT companies reading this: we're not looking to compete with you for your clients' IT business, and we stopped selling the service tiers that would have put us in that position. It goes both ways. Bring us in to train your clients, and when we meet an organization that needs an IT provider, we point them to IT partners like you. How that works.

Start with the argument. Pay when it's worth paying for.

Three stages. Each one has to earn the next. Plenty of people stop at the first and run it themselves, and that's fine by us.

    Hear the argument

A conference session, a lunch and learn, or this page. Take the plan and run it yourself. If it sticks, that's the job done, not a consolation prize.

Run it once, with us in the room

On site, with your staff and your volunteers in one room. A video can't hear the treasurer say, "Wait, I'm the one everyone's going to call?" An assessment first if you'd rather see the gaps before you see the people.

Keep it going, with protection behind it

Staff and volunteers change, and so do the scams. The protection underneath covers what nobody was going to catch anyway, and a workshop a year is included.

Plans

Two plans. Priced per location.

Monthly plans and what each includes
Plan Price Training Behind it
Essential $100 One workshop a year Content filtering that blocks harmful websites, policy and incident-response templates to adapt yourself, and a call when you have a question
Active $250 Two workshops a year A Firewalla where the internet comes in, our hardware. Policies and a response playbook written around your systems, not templates. Us on the phone mid-incident, not just for questions

Two plans, on purpose. They're sized for small organizations with nobody doing IT.

Per month, per location. Annual billing is ten months, so two are free. No setup fees. Discounts for churches and nonprofits. Endpoint protection is licensed per device and quoted on top, so the plan price doesn't move with how many computers you own.

Some attacks never reach a person's judgment at all.

Training gives you people who stop, call and wait. This covers the other two parts: what catches the attacks that never get as far as a person, and the rules that make stopping enough once somebody does. It's a floor on purpose, not an IT department.

  • Endpoint protection Huntress security software on each of your computers. Their security team watches it around the clock; we are the ones you call in business hours once something needs a decision.
  • Network protection A Firewalla where the internet comes into your building, installed by us and tuned so the alerts you get are the ones worth reading. We buy the hardware and it stays ours, so there's nothing for you to purchase, depreciate, or dispose of.
  • Process controls A call back before any payment details change, rules for who approves what, and a written way to ask for access, so stopping is enough.
  • Incident response Business hours, with a short playbook written around your actual systems and contacts.
  • Policies and templates Passwords, devices, data handling, acceptable use, adapted to how you already work.
  • Assessments and penetration testing Project work, available to anyone, including clients of the IT companies we partner with. It's a one-off project, not a standing contract, so it doesn't compete for the account.

Who we work with.

  • Churches Giving platforms, member records, and staff who are mostly volunteers.
  • Nonprofits Donor data, grant compliance, and wire fraud aimed at your finance person.
  • Small business The controls that stop real losses, sized for a company where one person does the invoicing.
  • Local government Federal security expectations like CJIS and NIST, on a municipal budget.
  • IT providers We come in as the trainer, and you keep the account. What that looks like.

In the community

The same three steps work at a kitchen table.

Nobody at a senior center has an IT department. Neither does a family. The plan holds anyway, because writing the list was never their job either. Stop, call, wait. What changes is the list, and who you call.

We run these in person, sitting next to you with your actual phone in your hand. No webinar link, no PDF to read on your own. These sessions are for adults. Parents are the right people in the room for the ones about a child's phone, and what they take home is the conversation to have.

  • Workshop for seniors The handful of calls and messages where you hang up and call somebody first, locking down the accounts that matter, and practice doing both. Real examples in plain language, every question answered without judgment. Bring a friend and your phone if you can.
  • First phone setup The right settings and why they matter, the conversations worth having, and what to do when your child tests the boundaries. Bring the phone you're about to hand over.
  • Social media Privacy settings, and what to do when something hurtful or frightening turns up in a feed. No shame, no jargon.
  • Gaming and online friends Voice chat, strangers, and pressure to spend. Which of those you want brought to you instead of handled alone, and how to agree it in advance so nobody has to judge it in the moment.
  • Screen time Boundaries that actually hold, family agreements, and handling pushback without it turning into a war.

Free at senior centers and churches. Low cost anywhere else. This isn't where the business makes money and it isn't a loss leader either. Same training, run for the people least likely to be offered any.
